How to Get a Library Card
The library issues library cards free of charge to all persons with qualifying identification. Bring in a current form of identification that has your correct mailing address on it, along with a photo ID and we can sign you up for a card!
Visitors to Salida may qualify for a Visitor Card, which requires a $25 deposit.
Kids who are five years of age qualify for a library card. A parent (with a Salida Library card) should accompany the child to get their first library card!
Services Offered
Book Sales
Book sales are held twice yearly. The Tiny Book Sale is stocked by the front doors all year round. Donations are accepted on the first and third Fridays of each month, between 9 and 11 a.m.
Copies & Prints
Computer printing and photocopies are 10 cents per page side for letter and legal sizes. Color copies are 50 cents per page side for letter and legal sizes.
Free WIFI
The Library offers free Internet access via WIFI throughout the building. If we are closed, the signal can usually be picked up on the library’s front steps.
Meeting Rooms/Study Rooms
Small meeting rooms are available on a first-come, first served basis. The large meeting room requires a reservation and a completed application.
Notary Service
Notary Service is available to Salida Regional Library patrons and district residents. Call 719 539-4826 to set up a time.
Poncha Springs Lockers
Library lockers are located at Poncha Springs for your convenience. When placing a hold on an item online, select SRL-Poncha Springs Locker as your pickup location.
