Does your child have a strong love for animals? Do they also need an opportunity to practice their reading? Why not combine the two?

Sign up for a reading session with a therapy dog at the library!  Every month a Therapy dog will visit the library to provide support and encourage practicing reading skills. Reading to a therapy dog is a proven strategy that helps kids build up their confidence with a calm listener.

Register by calling Salida Library at 719-539-4826 and get a 15 minute time slot.
