Grief is a universal human experience. Learn how to recognize if you may be experiencing grief even long after a loved one has died.
Week 2 – October 15 – How do I get through this? Four tasks of mourning
We often hear about the stages of grief. Grief is a process, not a stage that ends. Come hear what you can do to process grief.
Week 3 – October 22 – My Neighbor’s Grief: What to say, what not to say, and how to listen
Grief is tricky and uncomfortable for those of us on the outer loop. In this session, we will look at how we can respond to someone’s loss in a supportive manner.
Week 4 – October 29– Who decided that? Dispelling myths around grieving
Grieving does not have an endpoint. Come learn where the mourning time periods came from and other myths about the grief process.
In this last session, we will take a look at how to make meaning from our losses.
