Summer Reading Program 2008
	Catch the READING Bug
	Who: Children 2 Years Old through Those Completing 6th Grade What: Salida Regional Library 2008 Summer Reading Program Where: Salida Regional Library 405 E Street Salida, CO 81201 539-4826 When: May 27 – August 6
	Children register at the library beginning May 27, 2008. Upon registration each child will receive a reading log and a book mark. The only requirement is to check out books, take them home to read and write the titles and number of pages one book per line in the reading log. After the children have read or listened to a few books (10 or 15) return the log to the library for totaling, points may be redeemed right away or wait until the next visit. Children receive ONE point per page read or listened too, the points that are earned can be spent at the Library Bug Store. PLEASE do not wait until the end of the program to use points, prizes go fast and some cannot be replaced. Enjoy the summer and if you have questions please contact Becky at the library 539-4826.

Library Tours:

We are happy to help children to learn how to use and navigate the library. A short  tour is available to small groups. Please call Becky, the Children's Librarian, or Jeff, the library director several days in advance to schedule. All groups of children must be accompanied by an adult.
