All programs are FREE of charge. Unless otherwise specified, programs take place at the Salida Library, on the corner of 4th & E Streets, in Salida, Colorado.

June Events & Programs

Thursday, June 29 from 3:30 to 5:30 p.m. – Teen Collective Club for 9th – 12th graders. Bubble Soccer for Teens at Alpine Park! Preregistration is required.


Friday, June 30 from 1 to 3 p.m. – Open Chess for anyone in 5th grade up to adult. Meet at the library in the Children’s Room.


July Events & Programs

Wednesday, July 5 at 10 a.m. – Story Time! Newborns to kids aged up to 5 are welcome to join us out on the library lawn for stories, singing, and fun with Becky.


Wednesday, July 5 from 1 to 3 p.m. – Teen Collective Club for 6th – 8th graders. July’s theme is ‘The Arts’.


Thursday, July 6 from 3:30 to 5:30 p.m. – Teen Collective Club for 9th – 12th graders. July’s theme is ‘The Arts’.


Friday, July 7 from 1 to 3 p.m. – Open Chess for anyone in 5th grade up to adult. Meet at the library in the Children’s Room.


Wednesday, July 12 at 10 a.m. – Story Time & Cuentos en Espanol! Newborns to kids aged up to 5 are welcome to join us out on the library lawn for stories, singing, and fun with Becky and Ingrid.


Wednesday, July 12 from 1 to 3 p.m. – Teen Collective Club for 6th – 8th graders. July’s theme is ‘The Arts’.


Thursday, July 13 from 3:30 to 5:30 p.m. – Teen Collective Club for 9th – 12th graders. July’s theme is ‘The Arts’.


Friday, July 14 at 10 a.m. – Library In the Park! Kids aged 2 through 10 years old are welcome to meet at Alpine Park (across from the library) for crafts and stories.

Tuesday, July 18 at 5 p.m. – Amy’s Book Club, open to everyone! Stormy Weather by Paulette Giles is July’s Book Choice.
